How do I know if Redken Education On Demand will work on my computer?

To watch Redken Education On Demand videos, you will need to be connected to the internet using a high-speed connection. If you are using a dial-up connection, your ability to watch the videos may be limited.

The video keeps "loading" and no video is playing...

Depending on your connection speed, it may take longer to load the video properly.

Why can't I download the videos onto my computer?

In order to protect the rights of Redken Education On Demand and other content producers, RedkenEducationOnDemand.com content is available only as streaming content at the moment, and is not downloadable.

What does the "Size" button do?

The Size button allows you to resize the player's screen for your viewing pleasure.

What does the "Share" button do?

The Share button allows you to send an email to your friend about the video you are watching.

Is it safe to use my credit card?

All orders placed on this website are encrypted, thereby protecting any credit card information that is submitted at the time of the order.

How can I review my past orders?

You may view your order history by signing into your Redken Education On Demand Account and selecting My Video Rentals on the toolbar. Rented videos will be listed by date of purchase.

Does Redken Education On Demand accept international sales?

No, at this time we do not accept international sales.

What is your return policy?

Redken Education On Demand will not refund or extend rental periods for any reason. Make sure you check the system requirements prior to ordering.

How do I know which video to buy?

You can browse videos according to the categories you are interested in. Redken provides a short description and preview of all videos. You can also look at the video rating and comments.

Is there sales tax?

All rentals and purchases are subject to sales tax, applicable in accordance with the tax code of the state and city to which the user lives. Tax is estimated at the time an order is placed and a final calculation of the actual sales tax will be reflected on your order confirmation e-mail.

Payment options

Redken Education On Demand accepts American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover. Credit card information entered in the site is secure and safe. All orders placed on this website are encrypted, thereby protecting any credit card information that is submitted at the time of the order. In the event your credit card is declined, you will receive an error message upon submitting your order, followed by a prompt to enter another credit card number. The order will not be processed until your credit card is authorized. For your protection, please do NOT send credit card information, or any other information concerning your order, via an e-mail message to Customer Service.

Payment confirmation

Upon check-out, an email will be sent to you with a copy of your order. This payment email is for your records. After payment, you will have immediate access to watch your purchased video.

How do I use a promotional code?

If you have received a promotional code, you are able to use the code during the check-out process, prior to submitting your order.

When does the rental period begin?

The 48 hour rental period begins once you have completed the check-out process.

What happens after my 48 hour rental is over?

After 48 hours, your rental will end and you will no longer be able to watch the video. You are able to re-purchase the video for another 48 hours if you would like to continue viewing.

If I sign out of my Redken Education On Demand account, will I be able to watch my purchased video later?

Yes, as along as you are within the 48 hour rental period. Sign into your Redken Education On Demand Account and select My Video Rentals to see current and past purchases.

How can I watch the videos so they take up the ‘Full Screen’?

At the bottom of your video player is a set of video controls. You are able to pause, rewind, fast-forward, mute, raise and lower the volume, as well as view the video full screen. Simply click the Full Screen button the icon that has a 'grey square with blue triangles in two corners. To exit full-screen mode, hit ‘ESC’ (escape).

My Promotional code won’t work. What could be the problem?

1. You may have already used that code.
2. The promotional offer has expired (check date).
3. The code does not apply to the video you have selected.
4. Codes are case sensitive.

How do I register for Redken Education On Demand?

If you are a registered user on Redken’s professional site, you can log-in to Redken Education on Demand using the same username and password.

If you are not registered on Redken’s professional site, you must create an account. This username and password will give you access to Redken Education On Demand and the Redken professional site.

Why can’t I comment on videos?

Only users who have the video out on rental can comment on the video.

Why can’t I rate videos?

Only users who have the video out on rental can rate the video.

I have multiple videos in my shopping cart and a code for just one of them. Can I still use it?

Yes, when you enter the code, it will automatically apply to the specific video. You will be charged the standard prices for the other videos in your shopping cart.

How do I update my profile information including password, address, etc?

To update any of your profile information, log-on to your Redken.com Professional site account and click “Update Your Account” under My Action Plan section.

How can I find a video?

Enter a keyword in the search box or browse videos by category (haircolor, design, finishing, etc.)

Can I access my account from any computer, anywhere at anytime?

Yes. As long as the computer meets the minimum system requirements and has internet access with at least 500kbps bandwidth for Video, then you can log-in with your registered email address and password to access your account from anywhere at anytime.

I am trying to sign in to my account but my password is invalid.

Please be sure to type your password exactly as you entered it. Passwords are case sensitive.

Can I use a debit card to purchase videos?

Yes. You can purchase videos using your debit or credit card.

How do I download and install the latest Flash plug-in?

• Go to the Adobe Flash Player Download Center for Windows
• Click on the 'Download Now' button
• After the download, open the installer (install_flash_player.exe) and complete the installation.

What should my Pop-up Blocker settings be?

Please ensure your browser’s pop-up blocker is turned off. Redkens Education On Demand utilizes pop-ups to provide an optimal user experience. Your computer may have 3rd party pop-up blockers in addition to your browsers pop-up blockers that will also need to be disabled.

How do I delete Temporary Internet Files in my browser to clear the cache?

If you are having difficulty accessing Redken Education On Demand, then you should clear out your browser's cache.

To clear the cache on Internet Explorer Version 7:

• Pull down the Tools menu and select Internet Options
• Make sure you are in the General tab
• Under Browsing history "Delete temporary files, history . . ."
• Click on the Delete button
• Go to the "Temporary Internet Files" tab
• Click on the "Delete files" button on the right
• Click “Yes” to the prompt "Are you sure you want to delete all temporary Internet Explorer files?"
• Click on the "Close" button when the temporary internet files have been deleted
• Click OK to close the Internet Options window

To clear the cache in Safari on the Macintosh:

• Pull down the Safari menu and select Empty Cache.
• Click on Empty in the ensuing window.
